Do you still have the receipt? Bring it back. That happened to me too and they exchanged it. I turned it on in the store to make sure the new one didn't have a dead pixel.

They should take it back no problem. While it doesn't happen with the DS even remotely as much as it does with the PSP, the dead pixel thing does happen. Just make sure you test out the new DS that they give you right there in the store so you save yourself another trip in case it has the same problem.

well sam and i had a problem with another ds we bought, so when i got my new one i checked it over, i just started noticing the dead pixel thing a couple days ago

and yeah, the psp's are total shit, the game crazy i work to says they wont even give extended warentees on them anymore because people will bring them in with at least fifteen dead pixels, it's fucking ridiculous.

i got my new ds, cosco took back the other one even though it was kinda scratched and half the stuff that came with the mario kart ds bundle were missing.

i'm getting all my systems there now.
