I was in the army but I won't pretend to know the tactics of an operation of this scope. I confess, though, that I am confused that, for a war wherein the objectives seem much hard and there is nowhere near, the pre-"ground movment" air strikes, that they are using less than half the troop strength than what they had used during the Gulf War.
While I can understand his frustration and don't doubt Frank's integrity or his sincere concerns that he and his men are successful and safely return home, I have to question the tactic of going on international television and "showing his cards", so to speak, to the Iraqi leadership. Is he appealing to the American people? Well, the opinion of the American people's opinion sure hasn't seemed to make an impact on government actions so far.
