Old Feb 18th, 2004, 06:53 AM        Is Electronic Gaming Monthly a big magazine?
Or is it a small magazine?

EDIT: To clarify, Im talking sales rather than page number or dimensions.

i still have issue number 2 and it's ridiculously small... then iirc around the time i stopped buying it (around when original psx came) it was significantly bigger than most other gaming magazines. i haven't seen an issue of egm in a long time though. so to answer your question i don't know

It is a relatively popular gaming magazine. I think anyone who likes video games knows it, and has probably gotten a few issues at one point or another. I, myself, have subscribed for years.

I got an e-mail from a guy there who wants to plug EO on some sort of "recommended sites" list in May. Kinda cool.

Awesome, that'll give ya some good traffic I'm sure. I've had that happen a few times and saw some nice traffic coming in and people emailed me telling me they saw the site in the magazines/papers... so you can definitely expect to gain some new readers from it.

I actually wish they would've emailed me and let me know in advance like they're doing with you. I normally have to find out about it once the magazine is already out. It'd be much nicer to be able to let people know about it in advance so they can pick up a copy.

Yeah, a copy would be nice. I'll see if I can seduce the guy into sending me one. If I can't, I might start to sniff your ass a little since you're the only guy from the States I know how to be able to pay back. :/
