Not sure how, but something found it's way into my system that when I do a search on google, it'll replace the first 4 or 5 search results with links of it's own. The links always include these two sites: redzip.com and upspiral.com

Any suggestions on how to repair it? (and yes I've already run AdAware and SpyBot)

Someone suggested this on another forum:

Start --> settings --> control panel --> Java applet --> cache -->
clear

Yeah I saw that one the other day and tried it but it didn't work. I should also note that this isn't just a problem in IE, it does the same thing when I do a search on Google with Netscape.

:/ I had a weird bug with google the other day. It said:

We're sorry...

... but we can't process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your computer is free of viruses and other spurious software.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.

I checked my virus scanner and spyware removal tools were up to date. Delete all my temporary internet files and tried again. Sometimes it worked and sometimes the above message appeared. However the past few days its been fine. Very strange.
