Old Apr 24th, 2007, 02:02 AM        NEW ARTICLE: "13 STAGES OF EATING AT GOLDEN CORRAL!"
I'll be damned if this latest piece by Max didn't make me laugh outloud on several occasions. I've eaten at Golden Corral before and what you're about to read is 100% factual.

Quite the amusing, one could almost say provocative article; you have wrote Max.

I have never ate at one of these places, hell I don't even think NY has any type of buffets but sushi bar's. Yet I laughed at how much food you consumed and laughed some more at the comparing of yourself as almost dead; compared to the rest of the consumer's.

Than I even got hungry for a few minutes, was about to go make me something microwavable being as I haven't slept yet, its almost 9:30am and I might burn the house down trying to use the stove.

Unfortunately, like all good stories; it eventually comes to an end. It wasn't just the end of the story, nope max it was the end of my hunger and the start of almost needing to run to the bathroom to puke due to the thought of how anyone could eat at such a place that several other people (whom you don't know) are grabbing and picking away at, just a couple minutes before the food you are now piling onto your plate.

So, thank you for this experience. As one should always feel several emotions through-out a one page review on eating, as did I!

Max, that article was hilarious. I used to go to a Golden Corral for lunch sometimes with some of the rather portly guys in the IT department at one of my old jobs, and I must say that you really hit the nail on the head with this one.

As much as the place revolted me it was also wonderful. I am so lucky they don't have them here.

Golden Corral is only worth it if they have the "Peanutbutter Tart," which is just a gigantic peanutbutter cookie with chocolate icing on it. You can eat the steaks, the potatos, the corns, the rolls, the tacos, the pizza, the ribs, the chicken, the sald, whatever! But in the end, if that huge cookie isn't there I am going to be pissed! And they like, never have it! We've actually paid, went inside, and didn't see the cookie and left.

It's just not worth it without that cookie thing!!

I think I figured out why I've lost 35 pounds in 4 months. It's because I don't have the cash to eat at places like this anymore.

Thanks, Everybody.

Doops, thanks particularly. The nicest thing anyone who likes my stuff can do do for me is pass it on. Circulation is like Crack for freelancers.

I don't mean anyone should forward my stuff unless it really tickels them, but when it does, and they think of speciffic folks who'd like it, it really helps.
