Ziggy, THAT is hysterical, especially because coming from a Newspaper family (my grandad worked for the Washington Post his whole life) arrangeing things like that is quite deliberate.

Not for any political agenda per se, but as a form of secret humor.

There's no way of counting because scribbing in crayon on construction paper doesn't really count as letters. Even the ones with the death threats written in 'real American shit' covered with Toby Keith sticks and crudely drawn replicas of the Chevy Logo.
