This show actually looks like it might end up being good. They have an "Introducing Graham Norton" thing on right now, and there's some funny stuff.

He had Elijah Wood on, and Graham went on the internet, and showed him Frodo & Sam slashart.

Yeah, I don't know what to expect with this one. Could be funny..

It seems like Graham Norton has the potential to get really annoying, though. And he needs Ritalin.

I've seen quite a bit of "So Graham Norton" which shows on BBC America and none of it grabbed me.

I like the phone he has that is built into a stuffed dog doll. When the guy on the other line talks, the animal moves it's mouth, ears and eyes.

He used it one time to call this guy that has a balloon fetish

I used to sort of like So Graham Norton for the internet and phone sections and I loved that all the celebrities he had on his first few seasons were were washed up which made his internet research funnier somehow. His following series' removed the internet and phone sections and he started getting bigger and bigger celebrities and I just lost interest. I'd heard about the League Of Gentlemen being edited down quite a bit on the US airings so I'd imagine Graham Norton would lose quite a bit in the translation.

There are a few absolutely hilarious phone sections on the original series but you'd probably have to wade through alot of crap to find them.

Oh, so the Graham Norton Effect is just a best-of of So Graham Norton?

League of Gentlemen is mostly edited for time. Nudity and Cussing is blurred and bleeped.

The first series was edited down to six 22 minute episodes, which means a few minutes would get cut. The stuff with Pop and the newspaper stand got cut out. A lot of the stuff with the three friends (whose names i forget) and the one getting married got cut. The Prank Shop sketches were cut out. I can't remember anything else but there is more, I know.

For the second series they edited them into 8 22 minute episodes, so much less (if anything) was cut out. It was all there, just rearranged. I've watched both versions of the series and I didn't notice any major differences.

The third series never aired on comedy central, but they aired on BBC America, where they don't edit for time.

No, I don't believe so. They had a half-hour piece on So Graham Norton to kind of introduce him to American audiences. The Graham Norton Effect should be all new episodes of his talk show, done in America.

I still say it looks like it could be interesting. But with Comedy Central's track record of fucking with English shows, I'm worried it'll end up being vastly toned down, or overdoing certain things until they're not funny anymore.

it looked wicked gay. i mean, a show hosted by a gay man is automatically not funny in my book, but i watched it and the thing they did with the manican in the bar was pretty funny, considering the guy got up and (probably) went into the girls room with his pants down.

I watched it cuz Jennifer Tilly looked hot. I found myself laughing a couple times. Some of the shit was alright. I've never heard of him before this so I don't know what to expect. I don't like british people.
