Okay, for several years I have believed that I would not ever get social security. BUT that was not becuase I thought it would run our of money, or that the Baby Boomer stats scared me. I just figure some rat bastard politician will find a way to take that ginat pot of money and give it to his friends.

THAT'S WHAT'S W IS TRYING TO DO!! WAKE UP!! SCREAM ABOUT IT!! JUST BECUASE I'M CLOSER TO RETIREMENT THAN YOU GUYS DOESN'T MEAN WE SHOULDN'T BE SCREAMING OUR FUCKING HEADS OFF!!

A.) W's prediction about the social security crisis being now is based on a mathematical formula projected into infinity. Inicidentallly, this is NOT the formula he uses to predict how much his tax cuts will cost the govt. in missed revenue. If he used the same formula he would discover that SS is solvent until 2045. It currently still has a surplus, and would have a larger surplus if he hadn't already raided it. Neither the OMB or SS itself (both of which have always used fairly negative predictors) have such dire predictions.

B.) Private investment accounts IN NO WAY ADRESSES THE PROBLEM OF AN SS BANKRUPTCY whichever predictions you use. It is an entirely different issue and it will cost a huge some of money to establisjh all these private accounts, money which will come out of SS which W says is already about to go bankrupt. As W pitches this in the next few months, please remember that there is no logic anywhere in any of it.

C.) Who will get the vast sums of money it will cost to set up private SS accounts? Huh. Wall street? The Banking industry? Not you, unless that's hat you already do for a living.

Do not be fooled! This makes no sense at all, there is no solid math behind it, it is at best more of the same fanatical religous faith in the infalability of the free market and a worst a bald lie and an act of piracy. Except for the seagoing part.
