The Mad Pursuit
The early days of my scientific struggle were frought with scorn and ridicule. Detractors would exclaim, "Kelly, you're a mad man!", "Kelly, you're a fool!", "Kelly, you're toenails aree too long and they're digging the shit out my leg!". I perservered; however, with the knowledge that my quest would vindicated. I knew that although the world didn't yet have any practical use for my my discoveries, it was a changing world and the need for the fruits of my research would reveal themselves. They just didn't know ... didn't understand. I kept on. I was a man inspired. Then one day, I knew that time had come to unveil my secrets but there was a presence ... there was someone watching me ... wanting my secrets ... envious of all the work that I had sweated to obtain ... NEVER! I cried ... but then ...
