In my opinion MegaMan 2 has the best game music of all time.
The most catchy songs are in the Woodman and Bubbleman levels.
I wish someone would make heavymetal versions of all the songs in megaman 2. That would be almost as great as eploding a potato in a microwave. :/

i liked the music in MGS2 because it sounds really epic in the beginning. And the FF7 music especially the eerie music they play for jenova it creeps the hell outta me.

Any music from the Zelda series really set the scene, especially in Ocarina of Time.

I'm with the command an conquer crowd, the into to Red Alert was the coolest thing i had ever seen when it first came out. And hell amrch is soooo awesome.

Streets of Rage 2 has cool music, possibly the only techno i ever liked. And like RoG said, Castlevania music is brilliant.
