can any one who has done a lan party with an xbox could tell me if you need a rooter even if there are only 2 xboxes pls a friends wants to do ona and thinks doesn't needs a rooter

If you only have 2 xboxes, you can buy a crossover cable. More than that and you'll need a hub. Not a 'rooter.'
