And therein lies reason enough to know music theory.
I was not saying that Confessor was bad or too technical. I fucking love that band. Steve Shelton is one of the greatest drummers of all time. To be a dick again, I would say that knowledge of music theory has ZERO to do with enjoying/listening to music. Nothing at all. Whether or not you enjoy/appreciate a piece of music should have no bearing at all on what you know about music theory.

Should? Your demand might be the case for you. My personal experience however, tells me that understanding whats going on DOES have an impact on how you listen to music. It's a different kind of kick, feeling music, and understanding it. I'm not saying either is 'better', but I'm telling them apart. You can stop being a dick right about now and agree to at least that.

Hi. I just registered.

Lee Aaron is pretty good looking in my opinion. Shame she isn't doing metal anymore.

I really love these smileys!

I'm beginning to think RoG should make reading Jamesman's essay on the different types of newbies required reading to start an account. I'm getting sick of all these "Hi, I'm New!" threads.

Funny you should mention Wendy Williams...

I was channel surfing last night, seeing as my digital cable was on the blink and all the info said "No Data"... so I hit VH1 and for some reason they were showing the 100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock History and they showed the "Wendy O. Williams Simulates Masturbation With A Mic Stand" thing.

There was no point to that, just a story.

I STILL stick to My Ruin's Tairrie B. Gorgeous.

Nonetheless, Wendy still was gorgeous. Gotta love a 6 foot tall woman with mohawk and a chainsaw...
