EarthBound for the SNES was just a great game, I don't know why, but it just was. Chrono Trigger is the best RPG of all time though, although I've never played it. Did anyone ever play Bad Milk for the PC though, it looked like one messed up game.

Damn right. I'd post my animation of zeke turning into the blue monster but I can't find the link

Out of this world is a really unique game. I never beat it though

No way. There was so much more stuff to get in AvP (weapons, food, powerups, etc). Plus, the special weapon added a nice dynamic to the game, not to mention all the different special moves.

OOTW unknown? Golly, it must have been a while. It was all the rage, over a number of platforms a few years back (not that I think about it, more like a lot of years back). I love it, I've finished it, too. Flashback is equally good, in my oppinion. And in Paul Cuisset's oppinion to :P

OotW and Flashback were great, though most of my fun with them was on the masochistic "let's see if this kills me" level of gameplay.

Nah, I liked Punisher better. Both got boring but seemed like I had more fun playing Punisher.

Anyway, Captain Commando rules em all.

OOTW and Flashback are pretty well known but you never know. I prolly liked Flashback better, overall.

Hmm wierd, it doesn't show this post as the last post in this thread... and it didn't count on my total. Strange.

I loved that game too, but it was so annoying. The sound effects and all. It was so 80's

Another hit (if no one posted it yet, I don't feel like looking) was Capcom's Saturday Night Slam Masters, easily in my top 3 snes games, next to MMX and Super Metroid

I really enjoyed the texas chainsaw massacre for atari 2600 it was probably the first and only adults only atari game. Also donkey kong country 2's music kicked ass. I really enjoyed the opening theme, and the k. rool boss fight music

Did any one ever play the game Whacked!? It's a fairly easy game but it has a whole bunch of harder difficulties like Halo. It's only on X-Box buy it supports the live thing. There are a whole bunch of funny commercials and characters. I suggest you go check it out.

I just remembered this really twisted game i played a long time ago. It was called Bad Mojo. It was about a scientist who came up with a way to kill all the cockroches in the world but before he can use it he becomes a cockroach himself. It was just down right gross at some points, but fun as hell.

Another game was Galapagos (think thats how its spelled). There was this little arachnid robot that you didn't control, but you controled the enviroment around it. One of the first games to use AI (i think)

Both of these are on PC

Xenogears for PSone. It might be popular NOW (I can't find a damn copy ANYWHERE, and I'm not paying $50 on eBay for it) but back when I first had it, it seemed like NO one else liked it in Houston OR in New Orleans. Hmm.

Arcade games? The Simpsons, for one (I only say that because it was HARD to find around here) and the King Of Fighters series. Mmmm, Mai Shiranui

The little Freddy Krueger guy was pretty cool too.

As far as Zombies Ate My Neighbors, there WAS a sequel to it (and it DID have Zeke and Julie in it)

It's called Ghoul Patrol.

And why the hell can I not find the ROM for the original Splatterhouse?!?

Ghoul Patrol sucked ass, and I played a game with a freddy krueger type once. It also had a guy with a giant sword. I can't remember what the fuck it's called now though. I do remember beating the shit outta my friend with freddy though

Crystalis (sp?) for NES. It was an adventure/RPG, similar in gameplay to Zelda. Awesome game except I could never find the pyramid in the end with the last boss.

Getting back to the other post..

Was the "Freddy Krueger" guy you were talking about green-skinned? If so, it IS Samurai Shodown.

alright, alright, but remember:

Samurai Shodown had (at last recollection) at least 3 sequels. Wasn't one of those 3-D? And since when does SNK drop some characters to add new ones? They'd have had all the other characters in it and THEN new ones.

Neither of us is right or wrong. Yet.

I gotta love how Mr. Adventure and Chojin turn every pleasant thread into "STFU NEWBIE"

Looks like someone needs some Xanax. Or just a mild surgical procedure. A good proctologist can take care of that stick for you.
