Kulturkampf is probably a spambot
Old Aug 8th, 2006, 04:56 PM        Consistent Ideals of the Democrats?
What are they?

I pick out support of general social services and regulation of the market to protect the worker and the environment, but I think that on a lot of issues there is absolutely no unity in the party and what it fundamentally believes in.

For instance, is there some consistent stances in other fields I do not know about?

What is perhaps a very historic view of democrats on foreign policy?

the tax code of course is very different. They want a very gradual tax code so as to ease the strain on the poor. Internationally they'd tend away from a large military and much intervention at least they have since Lyndon Johnson and I blame the UN for that more then him. Only the use of Napalm on villages can really be something to blame his administration. They had no idea the UN would puss out of sending more troops.

kult... do you have any sort of point here at all?

Why don't you say "The Democrats are for lots of things I don't care about or know anything about, but that isn't like having policies or beliefs about anything, right?"

As for foreign policy, apart from supporting Israel (And I'm not against that, Abchdgzsh, so save yourself from carpal tunnel) find me some aspect of foreign policy that ANY party has ever been consistent about since the cold war.
