I think it's holofoil or something like that, but I can't be sure.

Also, are they still making MP2 covers like that, or was it a limited edition kind of thing like with the gold OoT carts?

I'm not sure, but I think they're just grey now. I got mine when they first came out so that's the only reason I even knew they were like that

I have a holofoil MP2 as well but I didn't like the game. It made me all nervous and frustrated about leaving safe zones and losing energy EVERY TIME

I never said the game was hard. I just said that somebody like me who's obsessive compulsive about having max health all the time found the game very frustrating.
