We broke one our inside doors' huge plate glass window. My parents are away for the weekend. Now just call them and tell them that everything is under controll, and propose to them to take part of the repair money from my allowance (25 bucks a month)

no, I'm a pussy. It's gonna be hell on my consciounce.

I'm just gonna say that they should enjoy their weekend, that everything is under controll and that they can use part of my allowance to pay for it.

Just talked to my parents about it. Told them everything was under controll, which it is, and offered to pay for the damages. They weren't angry, just a bit surprised etc.

I want kids, if only for the sole reason that I want to bring them up making them believe that Sinterklaas (the Dutch equivalent of Santa Clause) is real, and when they're about four, tell them that he isn't real in a very blunt manner. Then I'd tell them to say this to all their friends and the kids in their class. Then laugh in the other parents' faces as they complain to me.
