I don't watch Smallville, but if Spike and Zod team up I might have to.

I never used to watch the show, but eventually I gave it a chance and it's kinda like a superman version of buffy. I watch it regularly now, and yes, zod is going to make an appearance:O

No, the council on krypton did it, I think. Doesn't really matter though, the show deviates from the usual history a lot in some aspects.
