Donkey Kong Country (Ambient stuff bores some people )
Little Nemo - The Dream Master
Chrono Trigger
Mega Man (Number 2 especially)
Streets Of Rage
Sonic The Hedgehog (Number 2, again)

The Ducktales soundtracks are good too, but only for one song each. Ducktales 1 is famous for "Moon Song" and I love Ducktales 2 for "Bermuda"...although some people say "Scotland" is better.

EDIT - I'm also liking the Kirby Superstar soundtrack. The game has a ton of bass in its songs and I really like that...gives it more of a "deep" feel to it.

Oh yeah, I forgot Castlevania - thanks RoG. Especially Symphony of the Night. And Circle of the Moon was *almost* as good.
