Going to buy some new speakers soon. I don't play loud, so clarity is very important. I'm also getting a CD player and perhaps a subwoofer. I'd like to spend somehwhere between 200-400 total. Suggestions?

Energy...Paradigm or PSP.(those three are canadian) I have Inifinity bookshelf speakers and a Polk sub that will pound you senseless. I like Yamaha recievers and I used a portable CD player for years (sony)

Get a pair of KLH bookshelf speakers. At Radioshack they're as low as $40 a piece (last i checked) and they're small and have great sound quality. Plus they can put out quite a bit of noise if you want them to.
