I've been waiting for what seems like forever for them to release a new album. Anybody know any details on when their next one is supposedly gonna come out? Have they even started recording it?

They broke up. At least I think they did. Beth Gibbons did record a "solo" album though (CLICK HERE), so that's about as close as we've gotten to a new release. Too bad they ended though, they were definitely one of the best electronic acts ever.

I really like them but there are newer bands out there that are just as nice...Right now I'm listening to a band called Pilate

Strange... their site says:

"The band are in the studio working on new material now but no release dates are scheduled as yet."

Well, yeah, anything's possible. Hopefully it'll come out just in time for the new My Bloody Valentine album too.

I was just listening to portishead.. burning it for someone's birthday. I listened to that solo album, it's pretty mehish, but then I didn't give it much of a chance...
