I was starting writing stuff for my own site and wanted to check out other pop culture sites to learn some conventions and find a vacant niche. I'm pretty sure I found I-Mockery through X-Entertainment.

EDIT: I'm ignoring the faggotry in this thread because I think it's a pretty decent topic all things considered.

good topic i like to reminis about the golden days of mocking before this board was turned into a newbie wasteland it was more intelligent back then and the posts were top notch i first came to imockery back when this site began hosted on geocities i believe but i never posted because back then there was no message board and i never knew about the message board until later and even then the vets and i would only talk by private messaging each other so this is a good test to see if you are a vet or not if in the old days you talked to me with private messages chances are you are a vet haha now we know sorry to crush your dreams newbies oh well i hear fark is looking for new members better luck there or is this just the tough love of the initiation you never know haha im joking[center:55ba712420][/center:55ba712420]

I got on because My friend Erin (Agent Burdock) was telling me about how I'd like Mr. Mockery's Site. I only knew him as a guy from the UCB boards. I remember when it was the Christopher Walken interview and a few others on the Mini-mock site, and I remember when the Mockery church was launched... early '99? I'm not sure, but I do remember when everyone was a newb. and I got no beatdown, I hit the boards running and was actually sorta funny back then...
Someday I'll finish a Mini-mock... Or I'll make a mini-mock about all the half finished Mini-mocks I have saved on my computers...

I was intrigued by a shameless plug posted by someone named "Mockery" right on the front page of Newgrounds.com. It was an exciting post about, what he claimed to be, The Greatest Commercial EVER!
I read it, cracked up, read the rest of the minimocks available at the time, had a few chuckles at them, and finally after reaching nirvana when discovering the ROM hack reviews, I decided that I would become an regular visitor from then on.

I never really came to *these* i-mock forums till recently, but I used to lurk and occasionally post on the old UCB I-Mock board around the time UCB was cancelled (2001?) but I remember visiting the site before then.

I came to the site when the first UCB petition came out. I started posting on the boards when I spammed my old website to a bunch of random people and Mr. Mockery was one of them. He wrote me back, told me my site was funny, and said I should post on the message boards.

I spammed Mock with my website and he told me to fuck off and that I'd never be accepted, so I posted on the message boards anyways.

And here I still am. I think Protoclown and Mock are the only people that have more posts than I do.

Well not really a vet, but oh well. I found I-mockery when searching for something like Christian goth and there was a message bord at that time devoted to whinny goths lol and I was one of them (I'm rather ashamed). was the gothic_poet for awhile and then the_drunken_crack_whore, and finally left because I got a life... sadly it didn't last and I came back outta bordom

Edit: I did lurk around the ezBoards, but never joined untill July 2001 to submit entries to the logo contest. I rarely posted then. I joined the .net boards 3 months ago Cuz every time I tried to register it said "Web Site not Responding".

Yeah I'm not a vet but who cares, I was thinking about this when I was shaving yesterday.

One time, like a year and a half ago, I saw the "Kill the old man from Zelda" game on Newgrounds at my sisters house. So a while later I was like "Hey I wanna see that aold man thing again." So I searched for it and it come up on I-Mockery. At first, I wasn't really impressed, but then I read the how to toughen up my pink razor and I was hooked. It was a while later that I even ventured into the fourms. I was too busy laughing my ass of at Rog's antics.
