all the sarcasm in this thread actually jumped out of my monitor and hit me in the face.
jerks, all of you.
my SERIOUSES LISTS OF CRAP:
1. dashboard confessional. my friend and i have this really lame game where when we walk around a music store and we see anything that says dashboard confessional, we holler "I'M GOING TO BURN DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL TO THE GROUND" at each other. we've gotten some "yay"s from spectators, and a lot of scoffing by fags.
2. limp bizkit. the point is moot really, their last album, along with liz phair's, was one of the most trashed albums, critically and publicly, in recent memory. i would still like to see fred durst get in a horrible glazing accindent though.
3. slipknot. the representative of all other bands like this, really. and they fucking blow and need to also be crushed by a bus.
4. the strokes. their stuff isnt half bad, but everything else about them, including how hyped they are, creates endless contempt and hatred. i hope they die of indie cancer.
5. tie= bon jovi and rod stewart. i mix them up sometimes, like julia roberts and sandra bullock, they suck at what they make their living as, and should be shot in the face
6. KISS. MY ASS. talent-less fuckheaded egomaniacs. stupid, base, idiotic, and ugly too.
as for defense, i think the only one i'd stand up for, just a bit, is eminem. i like some of his music, and i like how he writes what he wants, is semi-perceptive in his lyrics (more than your average mtv rap star anyway), and isnt such a friggin pussy about his music. but hey, i really never listen to radio, so if i did i'd imagine i'd be fairly sick of his shit too...
oh yeah, and U2 and led zeppelin are great. end discussion about *that*
