If you like suspense, or Horror stories, I reccomend the novel, "Hell House", by Richard Matheson. Richard Matheson wrote several stories that were made into films and twilight zone episodes, like "What Dreams May Come", "Duel" (think Dennis Weaver and semi truck), " I am Legend" (Think "The Omega Man"), " Nightmare at 20,000 feet", " Third From the Sun", and many more. "Hell House" is about a research group hired by a rich old man to find out if there is life after death by spending a week at the Belasco House, also know as "Hell House" and "The Mount Everest of Haunted Houses". The novel was made into a movie in the 70's that stars Roddy Mcdowall and has a cameo of the man who played Alfred in the Batman movies as Emeric Belasco, the ghost that haunts Belasco House
