I missed this one again. I walked in last night to see everything going batshit with battlestar-galactica type people, mentions of time traveling and the Nintendo Wii, and Sea Otters with assault rifles.

Me: "Crap, did I miss it?"

This episode kinda disappointed me because it just tied up the loose ends of the last episode without introducing anything new.

The best seasons were the first 3, I stopped watching after that with the exceptions of episodes that people post online. I don"t watch tv that much anymore, I prefer to wait for season dvd releases

It makes sense though, if the point they were making was that HIV can now be treated effectively, but only if you have a lot of money for the medication. Which is absolutely no help to the people that really need the treatment.
The other related thing I think they were trying to get across was now that HIV can be treated, a lot of funding has been moved to cancer research despite many third-world countries desperately needing a cheap, effective HIV treatment.

Overall though, I'm not sure it was a particularly lampoon-worthy a subject. A lot of money still is being spent on HIV research and drugs are always expensive. There really isn't that much which can be done beyond continuing with the research and hoping that a more cost effective solution will turn up.
