Our host has successfully posted a complete backup of the forums from April 3rd. Very good news indeed. That means no accounts will be lost (except for a few new people who registered in the past week or so, no big deal).

Also, we will be taking the board down tonight again for a little while so that it can be upgraded. AChimp, who's upgraded his board quit a few times will be handling that stuff so it should all go smoothly. And if it breaks, you can throw banana-shaped rocks at him.

there's no need for that tone, kahljorn. you either live as a text-based entity or vicariously through your projects while on this grand internet. this isnt myopic blundering admist a group of sad parents, it's just something i thought worthwhile to share.

anyway, i'm glad it all worked out. i've been out of internets for a while (and will continue to be until the 3rd) because we've moved our computers over to our new office, only to discover that DSL won't be installed until then. GOOD TIMES!
