Hayes was eight months pregnant at the time. The boy spilled ice cream on Hayes' shirt and, according to witnesses, she cursed at the boy and chased him around the McDonald's until he sought refuge at his grandmother's table, according to police.

When Hayes caught the boy she put him in a headlock, picked up an order of hot french fries from the table and rubbed them into the boy's eyes for 10 to 15 seconds, according to police. The boy was crying and screaming throughout the entire incident. A Wal-Mart manager separated Hayes and the boy.

Hayes was extremely worried about the health of her baby and reacted in anger, said Lynda Hayes, her mother.

You know, I hate you and all, but that line was actually kind-of funny; "EAT SALTED FRIES, PROBLEM CHILD."

She is probably even justified of chasing a kid around the McDonald, basically goin apeshit over some fucking icecream stain that endangered her child. She didn't realize that kinda sprinting might have ended in tripping and falling
