While I like the idea, but without Bruce Campbell doing Ash, it's just not what it should be. I listened to those sound clips... eugh. Nobody should be allowed to play the role of Ash.

I agree, but I'm still going to check it out, I think.

Declan and I saw this last night and it was fucking fantastic. Easily the most enjoyable and fresh play I've seen in ages. The guy who plays Ash looks like a young Bruce Campbell and the songs are hilarious.

The guest of honour last night was Tom Sullivan who did the make-up for the films and designed the book of the dead DVD cover. He was really nice and walked through the line talking to people and signed our dvd and took a picture with us (that didn't really come out )

I hope this gets enough funding to actually tour and get big (it probablly will because the line ups were around the block for stand by tickets), because it's just so much fun and the writing is so clever.
I can't say enough good things about it, everyone left raving about it. The snippets online don't really do the songs justice. The best song is called 'What the Fuck was That!?'. I hope you guys get a chance to see it if it comes to your towns.
