Bill Nye! But of
course! What better choice could there be!? He is, after all,
the science guy. You head over to Bill Nye's house and quickly
notice that it bears a strong resemblance to Pee-Wee Herman's home. Well
that always was part of Bill Nye's appeal to the younger audiences - his
wacky on-screen antics.
You knock on his door
and nobody answers. You then ring the doorbell which somehow triggers
the door mat to give way. You plummet down a windy wacky multi-colored
underground waterslide into Bill's secret lab. Yep, science can be
tricky like that.
After you stand up and
regain your bearings, you realize you're face to face with Bill Nye
himself. He apologizes about the crazy doorbell trap, he was hoping to
use it to capture the UPS guy who kept delivering damaged packages to
him. What, you thought just because Bill had that cute bow-tie that he
wasn't capable of torturing a UPS guy for delivering some damaged goods?
Well anyway, you try to
show the blood sample to Bill, but he's already far too wrapped up in
one of his crazy TV show skits to bother with that. Today he's talking
all about powerful forces such as momentum!
And whaddaya know, he
wants YOU to help him demonstrate what he's talking about. Sure, aliens
may be planning to kill the planet, but this is your chance to be on TV
with Bill Nye, the science guy!!! You immediately tell him how excited
you are and that you'll do anything he wants. Ask and ye shall receive.
Bill places you in the
middle of a long tunnel and tells you, "Just stand here for a bit!"
You acknowledge him with a giggle that is reminiscent of a giddy young
school girl. As you wait there in that long, dark tunnel... you think
about all your favorite Bill Nye episodes and how you love that theme
song where they keep saying "Bill! Bill! Bill!" over and
over again. Just as you're thinking about that song, a mack truck slams
into your body, killing you instantly.
Bill hops out of the
car and runs up to the camera for one of his patented superwacky
close-up shots and says, "See? Now THAT was a powerful force!"
Well, at least you
learned something about science today.
