Dove Ghosts
If the dark chocolate pumpkins aren't your thing, Dove has put out some tasty milk chocolates in the exact same shape, but with a ghost theme on the wrappers. The wrappers have either one ghost or two on 'em, not that you'll notice, since you'll be tearing them off in the blink of an eye to chow down on those delectable chocolates.

Hi-Chew Sweet And Sour Mystery Mix
I've always enjoyed Hi-Chew candies, so when I saw that this package of sweet & sour candies featured a Halloween mystery flavor, I had to try 'em out! I'm a sucker for mystery flavors as it is, but when you give 'em killer Halloween packaging art, and you make them a ghostly white color, I'm 100% on board. Even the individually wrapped mystery flavor candy packets have confused ghosts floating around on the wrappers. That's right - even the ghosts themselves don't know what they taste like! Well, the mystery has been solved, for their flavor is Valencia Orange, and they're delicious & chewy as any other Hi-Chew candy. Absolutely worth getting your hands on these!

Haribo Sour Vampire Bats
Given the news that just came out about Haribo and slave labor, I've decided not to review their candies this year. And if I may - there are many other gummy candies out there for you to enjoy, so don't support these ones.

Brach's Vampire Teeth
Despite never really being a fan of fruit-flavored candy corn, I'm absolutely in love with the packaging on these. We've all put candy corn in our mouth and pretended they were fangs at one point or another, so kudos to Brach's for making their candy corns actually look like blood-tipped vampire fangs. These have a strawberry flavor, and while I'm not into it, some of you might enjoy 'em.

Brach's Witches Teeth
Just like the previous ones, these are made to look like witches teeth, with a green coating on the tips of each candy corn. The green apple flavoring on these is slightly more enjoyable than the strawberry, but I still prefer standard candy corn.

Brach's Apple Mix
I wasn't expecting to like these, as I've mentioned I'm not usually a fan of fruit-flavored candy corns. While the green apple ones are the same flavor as the previous Witches Teeth candy corns, they also include Apple Pie and Caramel Apple candy corn pieces in this mix. I gotta say, the apple pie ones are excellent. You can barely taste the apple, and instead, they're more flavored like cinnamon graham crackers. Delicious! The caramel apple ones are just okay, but thankfully the apple flavoring isn't too overpowering on these either. But yeah, I'd love a full bag of just the apple pie flavored candy corns! If they sold those separately, I would give them a higher score for sure. Make it happen next year, Brach's!

Brach's Naturally Flavored Candy Corn
These are some new candy corn treats this year, presumably for people who want to eat healthier. But come on... if you're eating candy corn, you know it's not healthy. Sure, these natural ones have ingredients like honey, turmeric, and sesame oil, but they also still have sugar and corn syrup in 'em, so it's not like you're suddenly a health guru because you're snacking on these. Maybe it's because I've been eating candy corn all my life, but something about the flavor of these is just off. The flavor is what I imagine some ultra-generic, off-brand, dollar store company would produce for candy corn.

Spooky Treats Mummy Ashes
Here's another candy from Canada that I fell in love with at first sight. The very idea of eating the ashes of ancient mummies in candy form is fantastic, and as you can see, the presentation here is top notch. The Spooky Treats packaging features colorful mummy illustrations, along with green, purple, white, and orange colored mummy containers. Inside each container is a fine, white powder that tastes slightly sour, and it's surprisingly quite tasty. It's more like Lik-M-Aid's Fun Dip than anything. Easily one of my favorite unique Halloween candies this season!
