Halloween Horror Nights 2015 At Universal Studios Hollywood!

We decided to go with Insidious: Return to the Further as our first maze of the night.

Before going in, I totally photobombed James Wan, Lin Shaye, Stefanie Scott, and Leigh Whannell when
they were taking some press photos in front of the maze. This one was posted to James Wan's Instagram.

I'm not sure I've been in a maze where they had the fog machines running on full blast like this.
I wish I could tell you what I saw in there, but most of my views were like this.

Wait! I think I know what those are. Candles! Yes, candles!

If you're not choking on the fog, you're getting choked by bride monsters.

I'm sure this references something in one of the movies, but having not seen the sequels, I couldn't tell ya.
At least they changed up the maze from previous years.

Some old newspaper clippings about the Bride in Black.

A cameo by George "The Animal" Steele, perhaps?

Shhh... loud fog machines will wake the children.

Or they woke whatever the hell that's supposed to be.

Looks like someone's Scottish ghost uncle.

Hey, give him credit... he found a way to breathe in all that smoke.

Darth Maul's mom showed up too.

I can't remember the last time I watched any of The Mummy films, but goddamn do I LOVE this ride.
We could honestly spend an hour riding it again and again (and we've done so in the past).

Some of the "Horror Night Offerings". What's more terrifying - a "Severed Turkey Leg" or a "Soft Serve Cone"?

As indicated by the Terminus building, we decided to check out The Walking Dead: Wolves Not Far maze next.

Zombies were doing their best to claw through the fences to get to people waiting in line.

He almost bit me. Almost...

Hey, let see you try smiling when your throat gets slit over a thousand times in a single night.

He must be preparing some of those "Severed Turkey Legs" we saw advertised a little while ago.

I'm gonna call this guy Chocolate Milkshake Mistake Man.

Chocolate Milkshake Mistake Man may be camera shy, but I'll always be a fan.

One of my favorite parts of the maze was this new addition recreating the brutal revolving door scene from last season.

I did not notice this when I took the photo, but I apparently captured a FUCKING NINJA about to attack those zombies!

Next up, we went to the maze that neither of us were looking forward to: This Is The End 3D.
We weren't fans of the movie, and it seemed like SUCH A WASTE to dedicate a maze to this instead of a real horror flick.
But hey, let's not judge it before experiencing it. In we go!

This doesn't bode well. The name of an actor I couldn't care less about? SCARIEST THING I SAW ALL NIGHT.

When a haunt maze is dedicated to a movie like this, I'm inclined to agree.

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO!

I'm starting to think they should call this maze "NAME DROPPER 3D".

Walking buy a bathtub with a guy in it making bong sound effects along with condoms on the table.
Halloween? Horror? If you say so, Universal.

Okay, at least they had this big neon demon head pop out at one point. First good thing I've seen in the maze.

There's still more Halloween Horror fun to see!
