Out behind Gallery 1988 was the eagerly anticipated giant Atari 2600
joystick.
5-and-a-half feet of Atari goodness!

While one person stood on the controller and used the joystick...

...another person handled the trigger butter. Hooray for teamwork!
(note: unfortunately, the Mega Man
2600 game that was developed exclusively for
the I Am 8-Bit show was nowhere to be found. I spoke to the creator of the
giant
Atari 2600 joystick and he said the game wasn't completed in time for the
show.)
That's all
for the photos we took of the "I Am 8-Bit" opening reception, I
hope it helped give you a sense of what the show was really like. And
