NINTENDO - the good, the bad, and the ugly.
by: -RoG-

Yes, bats are called Keese in the world of Zelda
Nintendo Trophy Figures!

I must say that I liked the idea of these, but they only existed for the Zelda, Mario and Punch-Out games. Why couldn't they make trophies for some other games like Ice Climber, Stinger, Balloon Fight, T&C Surf Designs, and Kung Fu? What's funny is that the trophies all had a little scorecard you could write your high scores on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there were any "scores" in The Legend of Zelda. Either you kicked Ganon's ass and completed the Triforce or you didn't. So in that case, I guess you could write "I WON REAL GOOD!" on the scorecard.

And I never knew that the bats in Zelda were called "Keese". Look out! A Keese descends on Link! From this day forth, all bats should be called "Keese". But don't call them "Quiche", because it would be pretty funny to think of Link getting attacked by pies. And look at Mario stomping on those Goombas. Actually, it looks like the one in the middle wanted to make sure he got stomped on too, so he angled his head towards Mario's foot. I guess it's much better to be a squashed Goomba than a lonely one. :(
