NES Cartridge Dust Covers!
While every
Nintendo game came with one of these, I've noticed most people no longer
have them. Can't really blame them though... I mean they really served
very little purpose. You could keep a cartridge in a dustcover, wrap it in
saran-wrap, and throw it in a zip-lock bag and you would STILL have to
blow on the cartridge just to get it to play. I'll be the first to admit,
I took out my frustration on a few dust covers. Tearing them apart,
melting them, feeding them to the neighbors dog, and even verbally
insulting them. Nothing felt better than insulting the manhood of a dust
cover. I mean, I'm not the only one who thought they looked a bit phallic
when turned sideways, right? RIGHT?
