deerhoof - apple o' (not as good as reveille, but still great. still the only band that i could imagine being considered "twee no-wave".)
cul de sac - death of the sun (really, really pretty and textured.)
locust - plague soundscapes (i've never been a huge locust fan, but this really does impress me... way more varied and interesting than any of their previous stuff.)
subarachnoid space - also rising (this album is so fucking psych that i'm scared of random drug-tests at my workplace for the next few months!)
