Eyes Wide Shut

I actually do love that movie, and Atom Egoyan. Oh well, perhaps some day you'll be enlightened enough to 'get' Eyes Wide Shut. I found it to be very compelling; the story is merely a journey, no of it has to actually make sense, it's the atmosphere that is the interesting aspect. I also found it to be quite hilarious, since the only person looking for sex, Tom Cruise's character, is the only one who really doesn't get it. He is seeing sex everywhere as he hunts for it, but it's destructive, destroying lives around him. It's just a great film, and it's a pity lots of people hate it.

I've actually never seen it. I wouldn't doubt that it's good. I'm just pointing out the fact that you think every artsy movie is pure brilliance. Even the ones that blatantly suck ass. You're bound to love it.
