I hate when people critique threads IN the thread. Because it stops the thread dead in it's tracks. If the only comment you can come up with is "This thread sucks" or posing that tremendously queer "Best Thread Ever" emoticon, you should just keep it to yourself, because really you're not saying anything. Mock the factors that make the thread suck, or whatever. Saying "This thread SUCKS!" is like saying "HELLO I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHIGN TO SAY BUT I LIKE THE FEELING OF WORDS COMING OUT OF MY BRAIN AND BEING PUT ON THE INTERNET SO I JUST DROP TEHM ALONG BECAUSE IT FEELDS GOOD AND I DON'T WANT TO KNOT DO IT BECAUSE AS I SAID BEFORE IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD AND IT FEELS GOOD AND I LIKE DOING IT AND PUTTING IT ON THERE ON THE INTERNET THERE ON IT." In me and wreck's mock war thread where we play battleship, there's a point where Rongi posts "Best Thread EVER" and it seriously really pissed me off.
