The fact that a similar list exists for liberals makes the whole thing pointless.

There's are a couple of things called pragmatism, and when you're trying to govern a quarter of a billion people with a few thousand conflicting viewpoints, one or the other of them is going to take precedence over strict adherence to principles. This applies to conservatives and liberals equally.

But liberals are still bigger whiners.
