My uncle used to always rave about when he saw the Dead play at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in '74. It was a rainy day and The sun came out for about five seconds right after Bob Wier sang the Lyrics "...and the sun will shine in my back door some day" from
Going down the road, Feeling bad. He said the whole crowd went nuts. They are trully gods amongst men.
Another honorable mention would be when I saw Keller Williams play in some club in chicago a fews years ago. Some drunk meathead collegeboy fuckheads started throwing beer bottles at him during his set, and he immediatly started improving some song making fun of them whil they were getting kicked out of the club. He still finished the show, I got to meet him afterwords
