First of all, I'm glad your finally recognizing my strengths and asking me what's funny.

It's mildly amusing.

On the plus side, it's deffinitely stucturally a joke, and that's always a good start. Also, though way to heavy usage is killing them as jokes, I still have a soft spot for anti French humor. From their love of Jerry Lewis to their modern propencity for surrendering, it's old but classic. The same can be said for Google jokes which I found completely hysterical when they were novel, but as the knowledge of how to make them spread and they proliferate, they get less funny.

On the down side, it's a very obvious version of both French joke and a Google joke, the equivalent of saying "French Military Victories... NOT!"

But is that what you were really looking for, a clinical dissection of comedy values? Or were you hoping for some sort of knee jerk proof that I define humor by it's target, not it's quality.

I'll say it again. PJ O'rorke? Funny as hell Republican. Rush Limbaugh? Gas bag blowhard Republican. It's not about the target. It's about the execution.
