DKC probably had some of the best music for an SNES game. The quality was pretty much revolutionary. You would be used to hearing bleeps and bloops of a midi-style music track, but DKC had CD-quality music that sounded like actual instruments. Hell, I don't even think any Nintendo-made game to date has had better music.
The final boss battle had some good music.
