And of course you don't see Jews having fun on Yom Kippour. Yom Kippour isn't a day of festivites, it is a day of fasting in atonement for your sins. One day of no food (or anything else pleasurable), and your good for the rest of the year. No 40 days of Lent, no regular confessions to a priest. Beat that!
