That sounds fucking nasty, man. Worst that's happened to me was getting my front tooth broken in half. Glad you're alright though.
Just so you know, keep an eye out for any extreme sensitivity to the tooth after a month or so. It might feel wierd for a while due to the injury. But if it keeps up, you might need a root canal.
