I'm a staff assistant for the exhibits department. I do PO's, invoices and payroll. I also freelance my writing and performing to them on the rare occasions a creative project comes that has some money attached to it. I love the people I work with, and all sorts of crazy opportunities come up that I get to be a part of, but my job grade is very low and the pay is beyond crap for a guy my age. If I could get a job as a content developer it would pay more (not that much, though) and I'd be doing more interesting stuff more of the time, but it's been years since one of those jobs opened up, and in the current financial climate, if someone left, they'd be just as inclined to close the position as open it up to applicants of which I'd be only one.
The dino thing is a prototype for the idea of me video blogging for the Museum on a regular basis. A VERY hard sell, and in no way up to me.
