I'm going to make a pre-emptive pick and say Super Smash Brothers Brawl. There's been this incredible hype over the game for months, and I don't see how it could possibly live up to people's expectations.

Well played, without friends to play with it gets old fast.
(Not that I have no friends, I'm just saying with human opponents in person it is infinitely more fun)
