I repeat.....ouch.....


Maybe if I didn't have to pay so much out of pocket for health care on top of the taxes I would feel differently. But that $1000.00 is with my employer paying most of my medical premium. None of this includes my chiropractor which is another $600 per year. Chiropractic still isn't considered "medical" by my (or most for that matter) insurance carrier(s).

EDIT: My employer also isn't going to be giving raises this year to anyone. This includes faculty. This is in part to keep the health care benefits we have. Something I appreciate greatly.
The up side, the top level of administration is taking a 5% pay cut to help out. That means a lot to the rest of us.
