Why in the hell would they trot out a fat-old dinosaur like Honky Tonk, when there's a perfectly fit old dinosaur named The Ultimate Warrior out there?

Because apparently the current Intercontinental Champion, (whoever he is) has a "Honky Meter" that counts how long he has been the Intercontinental Champion and his current gimmick is that he says he plans to break Honky Tonk Man's sixty something week streak holding the title.
