I found the atmosphere, like Bioshock (I think Schmidt mentioned it) totally enthralling and engrossing. The story was average, compared to the previous fallouts, but the more sidequests you do the more fleshed out it becomes. The character models were good looking, until they fucking MOVED, at which point they had all the dexterity and range of motion of Johnny 5. The enviroments would have been fantastic, had it not been for the omnipresent anti-aliasing issues the PS3 version was plagued with.

The voice acting for a lot of the characters was admissible, but there was a good few that were absolutely ridiculous (Excellent....EXCELLENT).

I did however enjoy the wide variety of weapons, that while a lot of standard fare for FPS games, all seemed to be different. I definately favoured my combat shotgun and Fat man. They served me well throughout the course of the game

or maybe by sheer bad luck, some inconsiderate asshole on the GAMEFAQ's board spoiled the ending, so I knew where to save before the ending, so I could continue playing even after my character died a pointless death. Like, I had 24 IV bags of Rad Away, I could have survived past the initial 30 seconds it took me to deduce what the code for the damn water purification console was. And I am I the only one that killed EVERY resident in Tenpenny tower before realizing you could let the ghouls move in? I was just doing it to loot everyone. Then when the ghouls moved in, I killed the guy who ran boutique le chiq after buying all kinds of room updates and themes from him. Got my money back, plus more stuff, and no one ever found out. There were even a couple ghouls who were browsing in his store, standing right next to his dead body. But by the same token, when they first moved in, they were all fleeing from me for no reason. Damn ghouls. But I like them better than those rich snots. Nothing like seeing Alistairs head fly off his disinegrating body and tumble over the railing to the ground.
