$605,000?!? Houses here go for $100,000 or thereabouts, and that's midlevel ranch stuff. I don't know how people get by at all out there.
The biggest house I ever lived in had 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, a pond and a large parcel of woodland. I think when it sold it was around $275,000, and that was standard for the area.
