You need more than a wet tissue! You need something to actually clean the wound. Antibiotic soap or iodine. Hydrogen peroxide will work well. Did you also apply direct pressure? Also, make sure the bleeding stops before you concentrate on cleaning it. DON'T USE A TOURNIQUET! If the blood soaks through a bandage, don't pull them off! Keep layering them. Trust me. And ELEVATE THE WOUND!
Why did you leave the goddamned hammer lying around in the first place?!
If it won't stop bleeding, go to the hospital. Or call 911.
