Before I start, I'd like to apologise if I have posted this introduction thread in the wrong section. I hate to be ass-raped on my first day about where to put this and that, and somehow it happens to me often. So again, I'm sorry.

Mmkay, so I'm a dude. And I'm English. Which many people seem to take seriously, and the statement usually follows with 'OMG BRITISHH' or 'OMG ACCENT' et cetera. Have some empathy; how would you feel if someone patronised you for your accent?

Not a rant session, not a rant session. Should these intoductions be brief or what? I see some which are all:

'hi im new lol sup guize' period.

And others are opposing it, and are followed by huge TL;DR in which everyone just states awkwardly 'Welcome to [forum name]! Enjoy your stay,' and so on.

This is one of many forums I have tested to see how high they measure on the awesome scale, and suprisingly many have fallen far below the 'mediocre' level. Let's just hope this gets a tad higher than 6 or 7, eh? (Oh shit, Canadian.)

Concluding this thread, in advance I'll just say 'thanks' to your greetings. No big deal, hm? Anyway, I shall be discussing further shit with you sooner or later.
